Let me introduce myself!

I am an award winning photographer, based in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear. I cover the Newcastle and Tyneside area, the Sunderland and Wearside area, Co. Durham and Darlington, and not forgetting beautiful Northumberland.

I am a qualified Master Photographer and have a CRB certificate.

My specialty is portrait photography and in particular baby and newborn photos. But I have a wealth of experience in wedding and corporate photography too.

I see every day of life as an opportunity not only to take photograph of a moments as cherished memories but to also create beautiful visual imagery to be enjoyed.  I love to use light, depth and space in my photographs and generating atmosphere and emotion.  This is helped with my background in the arts and theatre, I have BA (hons) in Fine Art.

It takes a lot of imagination to be a good photographer.   You need less imagination to be a painter, because you can invent things.  But in photography everything is so ordinary; it takes a lot of looking before you learn to see the ordinary. David Bailey
